There is a family Halloween event after the Halloween parade on Friday 30th October at Jemima's Cafe beside the Castle and bonfire in Manorhamilton. Admission is free, there will be storytelling for children, fun and games including splat the rat and "yucky dip" and a children's pumpkin competition, where children are encouraged to enter their carved pumpkin to win a variety of prizes. The will be hot food and drink at the Castle for sale and a variety of stall upstairs above the cafe-lots of very reasonable priced clothes, jewelry, toys, jams and patchwork quilts!
